The Leader within me can no longer stay quiet. No more denying the truth within. No more giving away my power just to perpetuate my people-pleasing bad habit. No more ‘oh-woe-is-me’ syndrome. I am done with the self-proclaimed gurus who shout lies from the rooftops. The ones who tell you that they will show you the way, yet they have never walked the way before. The ones who rob you blind. How is this possible? How is it possible that you have become so gullible over centuries of indoctrination? How? In the name of all that is good and pure. How? How have you allowed the wolf to blind you to his disguise of a poorly fitted sheep’s clothing. How?
And the answer is clear and simple – sheer and utter greed and desperation. Desperation to find a solution to ‘get rich quick’, ‘change from scarcity mentality to having over-flowing vats of abundance’. Desperate to chase the money, fame, glory and skewed power. And an enticing and convincing story that you just want to believe with all your heart.
So, I have decided to break my silence. In the words of Martin Luther King Jr:
- Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
- In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
There is no more denying my one true Love. My one true Passion. Bringing Love and Healing to the Workplace. Bringing Light into every aspect of business, where so often darkness lurks in the wings, to obscure the shady dealings, the callous treatment of the staff and the lies so often spoken behind closed doors. To heck with that. It is time to allow the light to pierce the veil and to bring rightful business practices back into the workplace – into all areas of the business.
I am sure you can see that I love all things business. The mechanisms that bring it all together. The people, policies, practices procedures, processes – all of it. I delight in the smile of an employee who just got a promotion through hard work. I delight in prosperity for all in the workplace. However, the workplace has become a battleground of wits, ego and dominance. And why on earth are we allowing companies to get away with this? Fear? More than likely fear for those who fear whistle-blowing, or who fear speaking the truth, lest they lose their job – their livelihood. Or – Greed? Yes, those who are unscrupulously benefiting out of shady dealings certainly do NOT want to be exposed. They want to continue to live the lies, so that their shaky world is not disrupted. I call out this BS, and stand firm in my resolution to bring love and healing to the workplace. And it all starts with you and me.
